a day to celebrate!!!

we can hardly believe that we held our IDs in our hot little hands today!!! as walter put it, while we may not have always been patient we were given the grace to persevere. but we aren't kissing the "registro nacional de la persona" goodbye quite yet. now we get to begin the whole process over for cora. should be a cinch, right? raaaight.

date night

thursday evening, walter and i had our second date night since amani was born almost four months ago. (thanks, mom!)

we got together with marina and nico, some of our best friends here in buenos aires.


after hanging out at a little bar we roamed one of the larger avenues downtown known for its bookstores. it actually happened to be the "night of the bookstores." which meant that four blocks were blocked off from traffic. couches and tables were set out bringing the bookstore/coffeehouse feel into the street. on one end a huge stage offered live music and all throughout authors could be found signing books. we couldn't have asked for a better night.
